Craniosacral Therapy in Gloucestershire

Hugh Shewring - registered craniosacral therapist

I trained as a craniosacral therapist with Resonance Trainings and I am registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association. I think that it is probably one of the most transforming things I have done and beautifully complements my meditation practice. This is because they both take you to a place of stillness deep within where true healing takes place. I had been practicing hands-on healing for a number of years with considerable success, but felt a need for greater clarity and a deeper understanding of what was happening. I visited a craniosacral therapist (one of my tutors as it turned out) because I had a bad back for a number of years and after three sessions it had massively improved. The treaments were gentle and nurturing and the feelings and sense of wholeness I experienced resonated so deeply with me that I decided to do the training. I find both giving and receiving treatments deeply gratifying and craniosacral therapy has become a passion.

"My first experience of this type of therapy I was highly sceptical, but I have been proved wrong.  I found it very beneficial in relieving pain, whereas in the past I have had to use morphine which has very bad side effects." - David

"...the acute sciatic nerve pain cleared up after the first treatment, this enabled me to go back to work (and drive the car there!)......after the second treatment, the lower back ache and stiffness that I have had on and off for several years has cleared up completely. For such  a gentle non-invasive treatment the results have been amazing." - Miriam
